TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Continuing to face adversity with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indiana State University student-athletes shined in the classroom, recording a combined department grade-point-average (GPA) of 3.286 for the spring 2021 semester with 10-of-11 athletic programs holding a term GPA of 3.0 or higher.
"Despite facing unique challenges and adversity during the spring semester and academic year, our student-athletes stepped-up and I couldn't be more proud of their efforts in the classroom," Director of Athletics Sherard Clinkscales said. "Achieving this level of academic success takes a team effort and I would like to recognize Director of Athletic Studies, Michelle Stodden, Student-Athlete Success Coach, Brooke Porter and Director of the ISU Student Counseling Center, Dr.
