CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Indiana State baseball continued its unbeaten streak Tuesday night after defeating Western Carolina, 8-4, in midweek action on the road. The Sycamores used a two-run sixth and a four-run seventh inning to roll past the Catamounts and improve to 7-0 on the season.
Once again, Indiana State had solid performances on the mound from a trio of hurlers. Geremy Guerrero, Austin Cross and Jake Ridgway combined for the nine innings on the mound. Cross (1-0), a Hillsboro, Kansas native, tossed two and two-third scoreless innings out of the bullpen en route to the victory.
