TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State rallied from down 13 points and then outlasted visiting Eastern Illinois for a thrilling 88-85 double overtime victory inside Hulman Center to wrap up non-conference play.
Indiana State improved to 6-6 on the year while Eastern Illinois saw a three-game winning streak snapped and fell to 8-5. It was the 90th all-time win for the Sycamores against Eastern Illinois -- the most victories over an opponent in program history. It was the first win over EIU inside Hulman Center since 2011 and the first in the series since a road victory against the Panthers in 2013.
