HONOLULU, Hawai'i -- For the first time since 1946, the Sycamores downed a Pac-12 team as they led by as many as 14 points in the second half and made huge play after huge play down the stretch to earn a tough 72-67 over Colorado in the opener of the 2018 Diamond Head Classic, hosted by ESPN and the University of Hawai'i.
The Sycamores improved to 7-3 on the season while Colorado fell to 8-2. Colorado, which entered the game at No. 46 in the NET rankings, became the first Pac-12 member to fall to Indiana State since the Sycamores downed Oregon in 1946.
