BEAUMONT, Texas -- Indiana State continued its week-long Spring Break trip to Texas as they opened play on Friday (March 17) at the Lamar Cardinal Challenge. The event is being held at the Beaumont Country Club on a par-71, 6,008-yard layout.
The Sycamores are in third place among the nine team field after carding an opening round team score of 310. Host Lamar leads the tournament after posting a score of 293. Bradley is second with a tally of 303 while the Sycamores are ahead of UT-Rio Grande Valley and Southern Illinois who carded rounds of 312.
