Indiana State Basketball begins the 2017-18 season on Saturday, October 28 with a rare road exhibition contest at Purdue. Tip-off is set for 3 pm (ET). All net proceeds from the exhibition will benefit the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the UNIDOS Disaster Relief & Recovery Program to support Puerto Rico. NCAA regulations prohibit Division I programs from playing on the road for preseason exhibitions. However, the game was granted an exemption from the NCAA to be played on Purdue's campus as a charity event. The NCAA waiver will also allow the Sycamores to retain their home exhibition game, which is slated for Friday, Nov.
