MADISON, Wis. – Indiana State men’s and women’s cross country will compete against some high-quality competition in the hopes of qualifying for the NCAA Championships at this Friday’s NCAA Great Lakes Regional Championships, hosted by the University of Wisconsin.
The regional format that the NCAA uses for cross country is also how it determines who competes at the national championship, this year hosted right here in Terre Haute for the 12th time ever by Indiana State. The top-two teams in each regional race automatically earn a berth to the NCAA Championships, as do the next four individual finishers not attached to either of those two qualifying teams.
