TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State's historic women's soccer season came to an end on Wednesday evening following a double-overtime heartbreaker against Valparaiso in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament semi-finals.
Valparaiso (5-3-5, 3-2-3 MVC) claimed the tournament victory after Lindsey Dusatko put away a goal in the 108th minute in double-overtime off of a second touch, giving the Brown and Gold a 1-0 win. The Sycamores (6-4, 6-2 MVC) end their season with the most conference wins in school history and completed the biggest program turnaround in MVC play after winning just one match during the 2019 campaign.
