CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – led the Sycamores with nine kills but Northern Iowa had three players reach double-digits as Indiana State dropped a 3-0 decision Monday night in Missouri Valley Conference action at the McLeod Center.
Indiana State (7-8, 0-3), playing in its third match in four days, hit .114 with no player swinging above the .200 mark. Northern Iowa (8-6, 2-0), which hasn't hit the court since Friday in nearby Des Moines, hit .261 as a team and was led by Karlie Taylor's 16 kills.
ISU did post a 4-2 advantage in blocks with assisting on three of those four.
