TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State Track & Field teams were dominant in the field on Saturday, picking up three championships while four track athletes qualified for finals on day one of the Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
Throwing sensation Erin Reese defended her Valley hammer throw title on Friday afternoon in a loaded field of competition. Reese entered the day with the second-best mark in the conference, but it wouldn't stay that way for long as she earned the championship with a career-best and school record toss of 65.
