TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State women's volleyball earned their first sweep of the season on Friday, defeating Southern Illinois in a four-set match at the ISU Arena.
Canada Night brings good luck to the Sycamores, as ISU was victorious on Canada Night last season as well, defeating Bradley 3-1. ISU improved to 6-19 (4-11) with the win on Friday.
The Sycamores used a balanced offensive attack to help down the Salukis, led by 15 kills from Nikkie White and 10 from Madeline Williams. Redshirt senior Cassie Kawa added nine kills of her own and ISU ended the night with 49 to SIU's 51.
