TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State volleyball snapped a four-game losing skid to Loyola Chicago on Monday evening, using a dominant performance to down the Ramblers, 3-0, in the ISU Arena.
The 3-0 [25-15, 25-19, 25-14] victory for ISU was the first sweep over Loyola since 2014 and improves the Sycamores to 3-6 (3-5 MVC) while Loyola falls to 6-3 (5-3 MVC).
For the second-consecutive game, sophomore Taylor Shelton put up big numbers to lead the Indiana State offense. The Fishers, Ind., native put down 13 kills while hitting .357 offensively and contributed 10 digs on the defensive end to earn a double-double.
