TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State softball team dropped the series finale against Missouri State on Sunday afternoon in a back-in-forth battle by a score of 8-7 at Price Field.
Indiana State dropped to 18-25 on the season and 11-13 in MVC play while Missouri State improved to 23-16 and 14-6 in Valley action.
True freshman set a season and career high with two home runs and three RBIs in the contest.
Indiana State jumped out in front in the bottom of the first inning when Henning hit a two-run home run over the left field wall, her seventh of the season.
