TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State baseball saw its nine-game winning streak come to a close Wednesday night as No. 11 Indiana picked up a 5-3 victory at Bob Warn Field. The Sycamores fell to 14-6 while the Hoosiers improved to 17-5 on the season.
Indiana State fell behind in the second following a solo home run off the bat of IU catcher Ryan Fineman. The Sycamores answered back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the frame after led off the inning with a walk. He would eventually come across to score when singled to the gap in left.
