PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. – No. 24 Ohio State used four runs in the 10th inning to secure a 10-6 victory over Indiana State Sunday afternoon at the Snowbird Classic.
The Sycamores (0-3) scored two runs in the bottom of the ninth to send the game to extra innings – the second consecutive extra-inning affair for Indiana State. ISU sent eight batters to the plate in the ninth as Sean Ross, Miguel Rivera and Diego Gines kicked off the action with back-to-back-to-back singles to load the bases.
OSU's TJ Brock was able to secure consecutive strikeouts before Kyle Harbison recorded a base hit off Brock's glove that ricocheted to the left side of the infield to score a run.
