PEORIA, Ill. – The Indiana State softball team won their series finale over Bradley in comeback fashion, by a score of 6-5 on Sunday afternoon at Peterson Hotels Field.
Indiana State improved to 15-19 on the season and 8-7 in MVC play while Bradley fell to 15-13 and 8-7 in Valley action.
Gabbi Schnaiter got the start in the circle, throwing six complete innings and fanning four Braves en route to securing her sixth win of the season. Lexi Benko took over in the seventh inning to shut the door and earned her second save of the year.
