CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Indiana State women's golf team was challenged by a fairly difficult layout and a city that lived up to its nickname as fast greens and windy conditions prevailed on the opening day of the Loyola Fall Invitational. The event is being held at the Flossmoor Country Club which features a par-72, 6,112 yard layout.
After two rounds, the Sycamores stand in sixth place among the eight team field. Indiana State carded a round of 339 in the morning but came back with a round of 327 in the afternoon which was the second lowest of the team scores in round two.
