TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon for women's college soccer and a beautiful day for the Sycamores' offense as they scored early and often en route to a decisive 8-0 victory over visiting Chicago State at Memorial Stadium.
Indiana State improved to 6-3-2 on the season while Chicago State fell to 0-7-1. The Sycamores are now a perfect 5-0 all-time against Chicago State, defeating them by a cumulative score fo 34-2. Indiana State's eight goals scored are the second most in a single match in program history and the most ever against NCAA Division I competition.
