TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State and Illinois State will resume its 11-year dual meet rivalry on Friday evening, as the Sycamores and Redbirds clash for the 12th iteration of the Coughlan/Malloy Cup at the Terre Haute Double-Dual at Rose-Hulman’s Sports and Recreation Center. The other half of this double-dual meet will pit Rose-Hulman against fellow Division III foe Manchester University.
Since it began in 2005, Indiana State is 10-1 in the series against Illinois State – whose only victory came in 2006 in Terre Haute. In fact, the Sycamore men and women have only lost once each in separate competition against the Redbird men and women – the men in 2006 and the women in 2012.
