DAYTON, Ohio – The Sycamores' youth movement continued on Sunday afternoon at Baujan Field as a freshman scored Indiana State's only goal and a freshman goalkeeper kept her first career clean sheet en route to a 1-0 victory over the Flyers on Sunday afternoon.
Indiana State improved to 1-5 on the season while Dayton fell to 1-4-1.
Celeste Wahlberg, who entered the match with a team-high 13 shots, finally broke through with her first career goal in the 37th minute to stake the Sycamores to a 1-0 lead over the homestanding Flyers.
