TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State Baseball squad improved to 19-11 this evening with a solid 4-1 win over another in-state rival, Purdue (4-21, 0-6 Big Ten). Junior lefty Weston Rivers earned his first win of the season on the mound, while freshman Triston Polley earned his first save of the season.

The Sycamores got on the board early in the first inning when senior Andy DeJesus was walked, and then came around to score on Missouri Valley conference Player of the Week, Andy Young’s double to left center.
