LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana State softball had two student-athletes receive The National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Region Team honors.
Bella Peterson and Lexie Siwek both earned NFCA All-Region Second Team honors for the Mideast region. This is the duos third post season award following the 2021 season.
The awards honor softball student-athletes from the Association's ten regions with first, second and third-team selections. NFCA member head coaches from each respective region voted on the teams, and all student-athletes now become eligible for the 2021 NFCA Divisions I All-America squads.
Peterson led the Missouri Valley Conference in doubles this season with 19, she is currently tied for fifth nationally in the category.
