TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State Basketball head coach Greg Lansing announced today (April 28) the addition of Clayton Hughes to the incoming class for the 2017-18 campaign. Hughes signed his scholarship offer and will join the team this fall.
Hughes is a 6-6 guard who hails from Jackson, Tenn., where he played in high school for the University School of Jackson for coach Oliver Simmons who was a member of Kentucky's 1996 National Championship Team. After his high school graduation, Hughes played this past season at Hargrave Military Academy, where he played for coach AW Hamilton, who played collegiately for Wake Forest and Marshall.
