TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Senior continued his tear at the plate for the Sycamores Saturday afternoon as Indiana State clinched the series with a 9-5 win over Oakland at Bob Warn Field. Along with Moore's bat, relief pitcher went 4.2 scoreless innings without allowing a hit en route to the win.
Moore finished just a triple away from the cycle after going 4-for-5 with a grand slam, double and a pair of singles. The Suffolk, Virginia native also scored a pair of runs for ISU.
Polley (1-1), a southpaw, came into the game in the fourth and shut down the Golden Grizzly offense and did not allow a base hit for the remainder of the game.
