LAWRENCE, Kan. – Indiana State baseball saw its four-game win streak come to an end Friday afternoon at Hoglund Park, falling to Kansas 6-1. Kansas used a six-run fifth inning to gain the edge and did not allow another run to cross the plate.
After three scoreless innings at the park, junior opened the fourth inning with a triple to left field before drove him in with a ground-rule double. That would be all that the Sycamores would be able to get offensively as Ryan Cyr (1-2) limited ISU to just five base hits in six and a third innings.
