TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The transition from player to coach has been an easy one for Indiana State cornerbacks coach Deon Broomfield, who was a star safety at Iowa State from 2010-13.
"Probably toward the end of my career in my senior year I would find myself coaching up the freshmen and sophomores on Mondays before games," Broomfield said. "It just kind of felt natural."
Broomfield was a member of some exciting Cyclone Football teams in Ames, which included the first three-year string of defeating at least one ranked opponent in school history.
