ORLANDO, Fla.—The Indiana State softball team fell in its first two games of the UCF Spring Fling Tournament to Utah and Florida Gulf Coast, Friday in central Florida.
UTAH GAME
In the first game of the day, the Utes of Utah, who are receiving votes to be ranked nationally, jumped out to an early lead and never looked back as they defeated the Sycamores by a score of 6-0.
Utah struck early, scoring three runs in the bottom of the first inning to take an early 3-0 lead.
