INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana State baseball used a seven-run third inning to claim an 11-4 victory over Butler Tuesday night at Victory Field in Indianapolis. The win also marked the 13th-straight win for the Sycamores over the Bulldogs.
Indiana State (22-19) was led at the plate by junior Clay Dungan, who tied a career high with five base hits to go along with three runs driven in. Luke Fegen tallied three hits, including a double and two RBI. Jarrod Watkins, Dane Giesler and CJ Huntley each went for a pair of hits for the Trees.
