JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Freshman Ryann Porter had a career day to qualify for the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in the triple jump on Saturday at the East Preliminary round.
Porter opened the triple jump with a personal-best leap of 13.05m (42-09.75), but used her final jump of the contest to claim the last qualifier spot with another career-best of 13.12m (43-00.50), improving her second-best mark in Indiana State history.
