TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State alum and two-time NCAA Champion Felisha Johnson will compete for Team USA in Rio this month at the fast-approaching 2016 Summer Olympic Games.
Fans can catch Johnson and the rest of Team USA in the Olympic Opening Ceremonies this Friday, Aug. 5, on NBC at 7:30 p.m. Track and field events will begin on Day Seven (Fri., Aug. 12), with Johnson slated to compete in shot put qualifying that morning at 9:05 a.m. ET, followed by the finals at 9 p.m.
Johnson – an Indianapolis native – was also a four-time shot put All-American during her esteemed Sycamore career.
