CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – had two hits, two runs and two RBIs and recorded her first win as a Sycamore after fanning six over 6 1/3 innings as Indiana State used a four-run fifth inning to propel themselves to a 5-1 win over Toledo in the Chattanooga Challenge Saturday.
The Sycamores (4-1) entered the fifth inning trailing 1-0 before scoring four runs on four hits in the frame. That vaulted the team to a 4-1 lead, a margin ISU would not relinquish. Yet the damage could have even been more impressive as Indiana State left the bases loaded in the at inning.
