TOKYO – Noah Malone completed his Paralympic debut on Friday morning in record-setting style, winning his first gold medal as a member of the universal 4X100-meter relay squad for Team USA.
Malone, acting as the opening leg of the relay, got out of the blocks fast and immediately pushed the United States into the lead - a lead that wouldn't be challenged for the rest of the relay. The squad went on to set a new world record time of 45.52, overtaking the world record that the Chinese team had set earlier in the day in Tokyo.
