STILLWATER, Okla. – Indiana State Baseball (6-5, 0-0 MVC) could not keep their early lead over No. 25 Oklahoma State (6-5, 0-0 Big 12) in game two of the weekend series, as they would fall to the Cowboys 9-2. The Sycamores went deep into the bullpen, but could not work out of a cursed sixth inning unharmed.
Indiana State had chances to score early in the ball game, as they had runners on in each of the first six innings, but ultimately left 14 runners on base throughout the course of the night.
The Sycamores took the early lead over the Cowboys in the second inning, but the Cowboys answered back with a solo home run to tie things up 1-1.
