TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – No. 22 Indiana State baseball picked up a doubleheader sweep over Valparaiso Saturday afternoon at Bob Warn Field. The Sycamores took the scheduled seven-inning opener 11-2 before claiming a 6-2 victory in the nightcap.
Redshirt junior Aaron Beck continued to swing a hot bat, going 6-for-8 with a double and four RBIs on Saturday while moving to 10-for-12 with seven runs batted in and a pair of doubles in three games against Valpo. Josue Urdaneta finished the day 4-for-10 with a double and five runs scored from the leadoff spot while Jordan Schaffer and Sean Ross tallied three hits each.
