TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State head women's basketball coach Marc Mitchell announced the addition of Krystle Evans to the Sycamore staff as an assistant coach Thursday.
"Krystle is a young and extremely bright coach," Mitchell said. "Her eagerness and willingness to share ideas are her strengths. Krystle has just scratched the surface of her greatness. I have known her for a number of years and can't wait to get to work with her."
A decorated coach who has more than 15 years of experience across multiple levels of college basketball, Evans joins the Sycamores after spending the last two seasons as an assistant coach at UC Santa Barbara, where she helped lead the Gauchos to double-digit conference wins in both of her seasons on the sidelines.
