Missouri State’s second-half surge leads Bears past Sycamores on Saturday afternoon

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – Missouri State scored 29 second-half points to pull away from Indiana State on Saturday afternoon as the Sycamores were unable to upset the No. 20 Bears in Springfield, Mo. with the 46-21 loss.

The Sycamores (2-5, 1-2) came out early in the contest with offensive fireworks as Rashad Rochelle broke loose with a 63-yard reception on Indiana State's first play from scrimmage and Shen Butler-Lawson capped off the drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge to give the Sycamores the early lead.
