BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Indiana State suffered two setbacks in the opening day of the Hilltopper Classic Saturday, Feb. 27, dropping its first game to Bowling Green by a score of 8-2, before being shut out by host Western Kentucky by a score of 6-0 at the WKU Softball Complex.

Super senior Leslie Sims reached the 100 career stolen bases mark; she is the first Sycamore to reach this accomplishment in Sycamore Softball history. True freshman Isabella Henning hit her third career homerun with a 2-run shot driving in Indiana State's only runs of the contest.
