LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Indiana State committed three errors and allowed six runs in the sixth inning in a 7-1 loss to host Louisville in the opening game of the Cardinal Classic Friday morning.
Bailey Martin led ISU with a 3-for-4 day at the plate – her third consecutive game with at least three hits – while Leslie Sims' 2-for-4 performance led to the Sycamores' only run. That score came in the top of the first as she led the game off with an infield single and then was eventually sent home on a bases loaded walk.
