TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Senior Khristian Smith became the 36th member of the Indiana State Basketball 1,000 Point Club as the Sycamores overcame a two-point halftime deficit to earn a 73-58 victory over visiting Loyola inside Hulman Center.
The Sycamores leveled their record at 7-7, 1-1 MVC while Loyola dropped to 7-7, 0-2 MVC. It marked the fourth consecutive victory over Loyola inside Hulman Center for the Sycamores and its eighth in the last 10 meetings with the Ramblers. The win also keeps alive a streak of 11th consecutive seasons with at least a split in the first two Missouri Valley Conference games of the season.
