ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- Indiana State Baseball's Justin Hill has been named Missouri Valley Conference baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the conference office this afternoon. Hill, a junior from Bettendorf, Iowa, is receiving this recognition for the first time as a Sycamore.
The lefty pitched his way to a 2-0 shutout over No. 22 Oklahoma State on Sunday. Hill pitched seven complete innings, striking out three batters, while allowing just two Cowboy hits, a pair of singles in the fifth and sixth innings.
