TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Junior forward Joyea Marshall collected a new career-high 17 boards and added a double-double as Indiana State held on for a 63-56 win over Illinois State on Sunday afternoon.
Marshall combined with senior guard Cierra Ceazer to lead with 12 points each while freshman guard Jennifer Mackowiak came in off the bench for 10 points for her second-straight game in double figures.
Sophomore forward Ashley Taia and junior forward Kelsey Dirks each chipping in eight points as Taia also picked up eight boards while Dirks added six.
