CHICAGO – The Indiana State softball team split a doubleheader against Loyola on Friday afternoon at the Loyola Softball Field. The Sycamores took game one by a score of 2-1 in ten innings before dropping the nightcap, 3-1.
Indiana State moved to 19-26 on the season and 12-14 in MVC play while Loyola sits at 11-28 and 7-16 in Valley action.

Loyola jumped out in front first scoring the first run of the contest on a double. answered in the bottom half of the second with her first career home run down the left field line.
