TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Inclement weather has forced yet another alteration to Indiana State's schedule, this time postponing the Sycamores' Tuesday doubleheader at Eastern Illinois. Now the two teams, who haven't met on the field since 2012, will play a single game on Thursday.
Thursday's game time is set for 5 p.m. ET/4 p.m. CT at Williams Field in Charleston, Illinois. Eastern Illinois (24-8) is coached by Kim Schuette, a 2001 graduate of Indiana State University and former All-Valley honoree and two-time Academic All-America selection for the Sycamores.
Indiana State (16-14) will return home following Thursday's contest to host Bradley in a three-game Missouri Valley Conference series starting with a doubleheader on Saturday at Noon.
