Terre Haute, Ind.—Indiana State opened their first ever women’s swimming and diving meet today at 2:30 p.m. at the Vigo County Aquatic Center.
“We’re really excited, this is our first step as we continue to build our program. This was a chance for our student athletes to show their hard work and show that we are representing Indiana State University well and continue to build off what we started here today,” said head coach Matt Leach.
This intrasquad marks the first competitive event for the new program which is made up of 17 freshman and first year coaches Matt Leach and assistant Rebecca Westfall.
