TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Following a unique year in collegiate athletics, Indiana State Athletics boasted strong fundraising efforts to help offset costs incurred by the COVID-19 pandemic thanks to tremendous generosity and support from Sycamore donors, fans and friends.
Overall, the department generated over 1.5 million dollars in revenue from a variety of initiatives including Step Up, Give To Blue Day, Golf Outings, individual gifts as well as Varsity Club and season ticket holders who donated their annual seat donations.
"When I took this job nearly six years ago, I knew that we needed to grow our fundraising if we wanted our athletic programs to stay competitive.
