TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Indiana State got hot from 3-point range early and stayed that way throughout en route to a 73-50 victory over visiting Illinois State in front of 3,253 fans inside Hulman Center.
The Sycamores earned the season split against the Redbirds and improved to 14-13, 6-9 MVC while the Redbirds fell to 14-14, 7-8 MVC. The win marked the second consecutive win of at least 20 points over Illinois State inside Hulman Center and improved the Sycamores to 8-1 in the building against the Redbirds under the direction of ninth-year coach Greg Lansing.
