TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State men's track and field's Casey Hood Jr. was named this week's GoGo Squeez ISU Student-Athlete of the Week as announced by the athletic department on Monday afternoon.
Casey Hood Jr. made an early statement at the Ole Miss Classic, winning the 100m and anchoring the Sycamores' first-place 4x100m relay team. Hood Jr. clocked a wind-legal 10.22 in the 100m, the second-fastest time in program history and more than two-tenths of a second faster than his previous best. Indiana State's 4x100m relay won with a time of 40.
