ST. LOUIS – Indiana State sophomore Emma Gresham was named the MVC Cross Country Scholar-Athlete of the Year Tuesday morning by the conference.
Gresham carries a 4.0 GPA as an environmental geoscience major and was one of two Sycamores to be named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Team, alongside Erica Barker (3.76 GPA, speech-language pathology (graduate program) / communication sciences and disorders (undergraduate degree)). In addition, Gresham also earned the MVC's Elite 17 Award, which goes to the highest-ranked GPA among all-conference honorees.
Gresham won the MVC Cross Country Championship with a time of 20:09.
