KIRKWOOD, Mo. – The Indiana State golf team kicked off the Diane Daugherty Invitational, hosted by Southern Illinois, by turning in a score of 625 (320 + 325) in tough conditions during invitational's first two rounds Monday at Greenbriar Hills Country Club.
The 320 opening round score was the lowest first round tally for the Sycamores on the season. Indiana State sits in a tie for 12th with Northern Iowa, and is eight shots back from a spot in the top 10.
Junior Lauren Green turned in the lowest first day score for Indiana State, carding a 155 (78+77).
