TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State smashed a pair of three-run home runs Tuesday afternoon at Bob Warn Field to pick up an 8-2 victory over in-state opponent Ball State. It marked the conclusion of midweek action for the Sycamores as they look to close the regular season this weekend as Wichita State comes to town.
The Cardinals didn't waste any time getting on the board as a two-run shot off the bat of Sean Kennedy. That was the last time Ball State would push a runner across as Sycamore starting pitcher settled down for a solid 4.
